Guitarist & Music Director Monty Smith founded the band A-List Playlist to meet the growing demand for exceptional dance party entertainment. Recognizing the need for a distinctive offering amidst numerous Top 40 acts, he sought inspiration by consulting with major casinos in the Northwest and Nevada. Feedback revealed that while audiences enjoyed the live band's entertainment value, they also desired the danceability and versatility of top-tier DJs.
Traditional DJs excel in creating seamless dance mixes and mashups to maintain a continuous groove but lack the visual dynamics of a live band. To bridge this gap, Monty envisioned a hybrid experience that combines the best elements of both promising an unparalleled entertainment experience!
